PVC Valves

Solvent Cements,
Primer, and Cleaner

The reason why Hydro & Seal recommends solvent cement is because it is the simplest, quickest, and most reliable joining mechanism for plastic piping systems. Unlike regular glue, solvent cement chemically fuses two pieces together, forming one uniform piece of material that is stronger than either the pipe or fitting alone. It is resistant to chemicals and corrosive fluids and guarantees strong, leak-proof joints. Solvent Cements include (PVC, CPVC or ABS) resin that fills in any gaps and thus, ensures the integrity of the joint. They also contain stabilizer that helps retain the chemical properties of the cement and increases its shelf life.
